Wiped Out...
Darell is completely wiped out. The chemo has finally gotten him this time. Not sure how he is functioning at the moment. I asked him about taking Friday as a sick day so he can refresh over the next 3 days but he can't because it's his day to drive the bio hazard materials from work down to Salem OR. That is really not what he needs right now. He gets up at 3am those days and drives by himself 3.5 hours each way. When he gets to OR he has to unload the truck by himself at a pace to keep up with a conveyor belt system. When he finally get back to work he has to return the rental u-haul truck before he can go home. It's about a 10 hour day for him at work. To get ready for his trip he has to rent the truck today and load it all so it's ready for the morning. I am hoping he will take a nap when he gets home today and tomorrow. He went to bed at 7:30 last night but there was a dog in the neighborhood who kept barking so he could not sleep. It is hard to see him so wiped out. Maybe the sun will show itself this weekend. A little sunshine may be just what he needs.

Donell, I am so sorry that Darell has to work as you describe it. It sounds very risky for him -- being as weak as he must be. God be with you all.

Donell, having gone through a health situation that was life threatening to me when Todd was 2 and Maria was 10 months, I know all of the fears, uncertainty, and stress you and Darell must be feeling right now.
I just wanted you both to know that you are in my prayers regularly. God's Word says that when we walk through the valley of the shadow of death (a very hard trial), we're to fear no evil for he is right there in the midst of it with us. Never forget that. God bless you both and David!
